You are always in control of your TravelLove Athens account. This page explains how to delete your account and personal data, what happens when you do, and how to ask us for help if you can no longer open the app.
Delete your account in the app
The fastest way is right inside the app — deletion is immediate:
- Open the TravelLove Athens app and go to the Profile tab.
- Scroll down and tap Delete account.
- Confirm when asked. Your account and personal data are removed straight away and you are signed out.
The steps are identical on iPhone and Android.
Request deletion without the app
If you have already removed the app or cannot sign in, email us from the address on your account:
- Email: info@travelloveathens.com
- Subject: “Delete my account”
You can also message us on WhatsApp or Instagram (@travellove_athens). We verify the request and complete deletion within 30 days — usually much sooner.
What gets deleted
When you delete your account we immediately and permanently remove the personal data linked to it, including:
- your name, email address and phone number;
- your profile photo and date of birth;
- your Apple / Google sign-in link and device notification token;
- your notification preferences.
All your sign-in sessions are revoked, so every device is signed out.
What we keep, and why
For legal, tax and accounting reasons we keep a record of past bookings and payments — but in anonymised form, stripped of the personal details above so it is no longer linked to you. We retain this only for as long as the law requires.
